NDIS

We work with clients who are funded under the National Disability Insurance Scheme. You can use your funding towards assessment and therapy services. See NDIS.gov.au for more information.

Medicare

Your GP may provide you with a Chronic Disease Management Plan (formerly Enhanced Primary Care Plan). This entitles you to a rebate from Medicare for 5 sessions per calendar year. Individuals of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent are eligible for an additional 5 sessions per calendar year. See humanservices.gov.au for more information. We have Medicare Easyclaim in our office so you can claim the rebate on the spot.

Private Health

Your health fund may provide a rebate for Speech Pathology services. We recommend you speak to your health fund about your individual cover. We have HICAPS in our office so you can claim on the spot and just pay the gap.

Centrelink Carer’s Allowance

Centrelink provides a fortnightly allowance for parents/carers providing additional daily care for a child under 16 years of age with a disability or medical condition. Your Speech Pathologist can assist with completing the Medical Report required for your application. See humanservices.gov.au for more information.
